PRO CARE PORCELAIN TILE SEALER is a superior quality solvent based, penetrating, no-sheen, no surface film, natural look, water & oil repellent for general stain protection. Suitable on polished and unpolished porcelain, vitrified and unglazed ceramics and other low porosity polished natural stone. Can be used as a pre-sealer onto clean surfaces at least 6 hours before grouting. Allows water vapour transmission. For interior and exterior use.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

a. Wait at least 3 days after installing and grouting the tiled surface before applying PRO CARE PORCELAIN TILE SEALER.
b. Clean the surface by sweeping, vacuuming, or dusting and mask off any adjacent surfaces that need to be protected.
c. Use PRO CARE GROUT REMOVER to remove any tile adhesive or grout residues and neutralize the surface with PRO CARE HEAVY DUTY CLEANER. Remove any oil or grease stains with PRO CARE HEAVY DUTY CLEANER or PRO CARE SCRUB.
d. Allow the cleaned surface to completely dry before applying the sealer (at least 2 hours).
e. When pre-sealing tiles, prevent spillage on the back or sides of the tiles.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:

• Apply PRO CARE PORCELAIN TILE SEALER to a small area first, to ensure the product produces the required finish.
• Apply a liberal coat of PRO CARE PORCELAIN TILE SEALER with a sheepskin applicator or lint free cloth. Do not apply with paint rollers or sponges as these may cause bubbles to the treated surface.
• The product should be completely absorbed into the surface after 5 mins. If the product has not penetrated after 5 mins remove excess with a dry clean cloth.
• If product is completely absorbed within 5 minutes, then wait 30 minutes and apply a second coat. If product is not completely absorbed within 5 minutes, wait 30 minutes and wipe off all excess product with an absorbent cloth. A third coat may be required, if the tile is more porous.
• Allow to dry for 2 hours. Ensure the surface is completely sealed by applying water droplets to the surface. If the water darkens the surface apply additional coats.
• The coverage of this product is dependent upon the porosity of the surface. As a guide 1Lt of PRO CARE PORCELAIN TILE SEALER should treat 20 m2.

PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS:

a. Ensure that the above instructions are adhered to at all times and do not adulterate the product in any way as this could cause failure.
b. Do not apply to hot tiles in direct sunlight as this will dry the sealer too quickly.
c. Ensure there is adequate ventilation when applying PRO CARE PORCELAIN TILE SEALER.
d. Rubber gloves should be used when applying this product. In the event of contamination, rinse skin under cold water. Consult a doctor if irritation persists.
e. Keep PRO CARE PORCELAIN TILE SEALER away from pets and children.
f. Do not ingest. FLAMMABLE.
